Manufactured from PP/PC. The desiccator is implosion proof and will take vacuum of -740mm Hg with loss (absolute zero -760 mm/HG) not exceeding 20mm Hg in 24 hours. The transparent polycarbonate cover seals onto a neoprene '0' ring set into the flange of the PP base. To help with establishing the initial vacuum, grease can be applied on the 'o' ring. Within the desiccator is a removable pan for holding a drying agent. Manufactured from PVC/PMP/FEP. The high precision plastic burettes (according to DIN 12700 standards - Class B) is useful for routine work to eliminate the danger of glass breakages. The combination of the different plastic materials (PMP, FEP, PVC) provides a good resistance to chemicals. The stopcock assembly is molded in one piece with FEP key, requiring no lubricant and providing a leak-proof seal.
